Since 1980, C Bennett has provided our products and services to thousands of homes throughout the area. We are proud to serve the needs of builders, remodelers, contractors, architects, designers and homeowners. Take a trip though time and learn more about us and our journey.
Charlie Bennett, Our Founder, began his business called C. Bennett Building Supply in 1980. Their original location was in Earth City. Shown to the left is their original logo along with Charlie's original business card.

In 2007, Charlie was recognized in St. Charles County with the Community Shaper Award. The previous year he was the Recipient of HBA's "Excellence of Achievement" award. Helping the community has always been an important value of the Bennett family.
Lights, Camera, Action! CBennett was featured in a variety of publications both in print and broadcast. On tv, C. Bennett was featured not once, but twice on popular local show "Show Me St. Louis." In September 2016, C. Bennett's Napoleon Fireplaces were featured in national publication, Good Housekeeping. In November 2016, C. Bennett was recognized by St. Louis Small Business Monthly as a Winning Workplace in St. Louis.
In addition to being recognized in a variety of publications, C. Bennett made a virtual Google tour of their showroom available online and debuted a new website.

CBennett acquired Hearth & Home in Washington, Missouri to serve as a secondary location. Check out Hearth & Home's website here!
CBennett also expanded their product line in 2019. The addition of Seura Mirrors helped brighten up our customer's home in addition to the roaring fireplaces!
Hearth & Home has moved! They only moved about a half-mile down the street, but their new showroom allows them to have at least a dozen more displays. This new location also features a warehouse, a shelving display, an electric fireplace room, shower display and a spacious reception desk! Their new location is located at 430 E Fifth St. in Washington, Missouri.
We have partnered with Fox 2/KPLR 11 and developed 4 different commercials that are being shown around the clock to the people of Saint Louis. CBennett is also showcasing our wonderful showroom through ads on popular streaming platforms such as Hulu and HBO.
New Line Alert! In 2024, CBennett added Montigo Fireplaces. In Montigo's words, "As one of the first to bring a linear designed fireplace to market, Montigo now offers the largest selection of linear fireplaces demanded by designers, architects and homeowners wanting to create a modern and contemporary space."
